YouTube nowadays has become a popular social media platform for self-media individuals can share their perspectives, their different understanding of life, their everyday life routine. According to the survey (Eric Blattberg, APRIL 24, 2015), over 300 hours of videos are uploaded a minute. The user can be divided into male and female demographics. 

This article we concentrate on Female Youtubers.

We use three successful Female Youtubers as examples to analyses the factors making a successful Female YouTuber.
  • Jenn Im: 2 million subscribed 
       

Jenn Im is a YouTube channel built by an American born Korean girl named Jennim. Basically, her channel shares her fashion choice and daily life makeup. After going through all her videos, we can find out several reasons for her to win such plenty of subscribers:
1.     The mood: She always speaks in a positive vibe.
2.     The content she prepared for the videos is always a new theme that another YouTube did not come up before.

3.     She corporate with some famous cosmetics company to release her personal designed makeup.   
  • Pick up lime: 618K subscribed

       
Pick up lime is a YouTube channel built by an American born Indian girl. She shares her healthy and creative cuisine. The reason makes her subscribers beyond other similar YouTubers:
Her recipes are always original creative recipes come up with herself. The unique recipes attract people's attention 
1.     Her vision of the video always full of all colorful decoration, whenever you go through her videos, you feel enjoyed with what you see.
2.   She has a gentle, soft and confident voiceShe always looks confidentThe confidence is one of most convincing factors to make audience admit your videos. Confidence is a personal charm.

  • LYDIA Elise Millen: 512K Subscribed
         
Lydia is a British YouTuber. Her channel contains more high fashion content. Her videos including her normal vlog about her everyday makeup routine, outfit of the day, and what did she do as a fashion blogger in a day. Her videos are a little bit far away from common sense because what she introduces are always luxury. However, people love her videos:
      
1.     She goes with high fashion routine. Even people who cannot have a life full of luxury brand of outfits or makeup, people are curious about what is this kind of life looks like.

2.     Lydia loves to share what she buys or uses in daily life. For example, she told people about her experience about using these stuffs, like, luxury bags, jewels or cosmetics. Some videos are about evaluation about the products, which will give you a lot of ideas if you also what to try the same products.

With the further growth of Youtube, I am sure that more women will pursue a "creator" path on Youtube.
